Unlocking Parenthood: Fertility Treatments for LGBTQ+ Individuals and couples
People from the LGBTQ+ community are no strangers to love, commitment, and the desire to build a family. With advancements in reproductive medicine, the path to parenthood has become more accessible and inclusive than ever before. At Newlife IVF Greece, we offer a range of fertility treatments designed explicitly for same-sex couples, allowing you to fulfil your dreams of becoming parents.

Donor Insemination: This treatment involves using donor sperm to fertilize the egg. The sperm can be obtained from a sperm bank, where you can select a donor based on your preferences, including physical characteristics and medical history. Donor insemination can be performed through intrauterine insemination (IUI) or in vitro fertilization (IVF), depending on individual circumstances.
Intrauterine insemination (IUI): In IUI, sperm is placed in the uterus of the person trying to conceive. The sperm can be from a known donor or a sperm bank. IUI is performed either during a natural menstrual cycle or following ovarian stimulation.
In Vitro Fertilization (IVF): IVF is a widely recognised fertility treatment that offers numerous possibilities for same-sex individuals and couples. With IVF, eggs are harvested from one partner or obtained from a donor and then fertilised with sperm from the other partner or a donor. The resulting embryos are then transferred to the uterus of the partner, who will carry the pregnancy (shared motherhood / ROPA) or a gestational carrier.
Egg or Sperm Donation: For individuals or couples who do not necessarily wish to use their own gametes (eggs or sperm) and require assistance with them, we provide options for egg or sperm donation. Our clinic works with reputable donors who undergo rigorous screening processes, ensuring the highest quality and safety for our patients.
Surrogacy: Surrogacy is a wonderful option that allows same-sex couples to have a child biologically related to them. A gestational surrogate carries the pregnancy on behalf of the intended parents, using either the intended parents' embryos or embryos created with donor eggs or sperm. Our clinic offers comprehensive support throughout the surrogacy process, including legal guidance and coordination.
