Dimitrios Dovas
Dimitrios Dovas, MD, DFFP

Medical Director
Dimitrios is the Medical Director of Newlife Center of Reproductive Medicine, in Thessaloniki Greece and is also responsible for all international patients.
He graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Greece in 1996. He specialized in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in England. He obtained the Diploma in Family Planning from the London Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecogists. He participated in the training of medical students and midwives. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the 2nd Obs & Gynae Clinic of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2004.
He is a member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and has lectured in many national and international conferences. He has published a large number of articles in Greek and international scientific journals.
Athanasios Pantelis
Athanasios Pantelis, MD, PhD

Athanasios is an Infertility Specialsit at Newlife Center of Reproductive Medicine. He graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2001 and obtained his doctorate degree in 2018. He specialized in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, completing his training in the 2nd Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinic of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2009. During his speciality, he had the opportunity to be trained in infertility, high-risk pregnancy, cervical pathology, endoscopic surgery and urogynaecology. Since 2010, he is a PhD student of Aristotle University, drafting a doctoral thesis on the study of biochemical and ultrasonographic markers for the prediction of preterm birth.
He is a member of the Greek Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society, the Greek Society of Perinatal Medicine, the Greek Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).
He has participated in numerous scientific conferences and has published papers in international journals.
Anthi Stamkopoulou

Anthi is an Infertility Specialist at Newlife Center of Reproductive Medicine. She graduated from the Medical School of the Democritus University of Thrace in Alexandroupolis in 2007. She specialized in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, completing her training in the 2nd Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinic of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2016. During her speciality, she had the opportunity to be trained in infertility, high-risk pregnancy, sonography, cervical pathology, endoscopic surgery and urogynaecology. In 2017, she completed her Master of Science in Reproductive Medicine in Democritus University of Thrace.
She is a member of the Greek Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).
She has participated in numerous scientific conferences and has published papers in international journals.
Chrysa Karakosta
Chrysa Karakosta, BSc, MSc

Lab Director & International Patient Manager
Chrysa is the Lab co-Director at Newlife Center of Reproductive Medicine, in Thessaloniki Greece, from the beginning of 2010 and the international patient manager.
She studied Applied Biology (BSc) at Kingston University, UK. She has two postgraduate titles: MSc Human Reproductive Biology from the Imperial College of London and a Diploma and Certificate in Clinical Embryology from the Association of Clinical Embryologists (ACE) Training Committee and the Institute of Biology (IOB), UK.
She specialized in IVF and ICSI at King’s College Hospital, London. She periodically visited The Bridge IVF Clinic, Lagos Nigeria to organize and supervise the laboratory set up. She held the position of Senior Clinical Embryologist in large IVF Centers in Thessaloniki from 2001 to the end of 2009. She is a certified Senior Clinical Embryologist by ESHRE. She is a member of the Pan-Hellenic Society of Clinical Embryologists (PEKE), ESHRE, and ALPHA Scientists in Reproductive Medicine. She was a board member of PEKE from 2005 to 2008.
Afroditi Zisopoulou
Afroditi Zisopoulou, BSc, MSc
Clinical Embryologist
Lab Director
Afroditi is the Lab co-Director at Newlife Center of Reproductive Medicine, in Thessaloniki Greece, from the beginning of 2010.
She studied Biology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She completed an MSc in Genetics at the same university and carried on with further studies in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Heidelberg, Germany.
She set up and directed the IVF lab in large fertility units in Thessaloniki from 1992 to 2009. She is a certified Senior Clinical Embryologist by ESHRE. She is currently a Board member of the Pan-Hellenic Society of Clinical Embryologists (PEKE), ESHRE, and ALPHA Scientists in Reproductive Medicine.
Eirini Neofytou
Eirini Neofytou, PhD
Clinical Embryologist
Eirini Neofytou is embryologist in the IVF laboratory and part of the scientific team in Newlife IVF Unit. She has been trained on Assisted Reproduction Techniques in the IVF Unit of “Papageorgiou” Hospital. Eirini has graduated from the Faculty of Biology and obtained her PhD from the University of Crete, working on male infertility. She is communicative, enthusiastic with her job and passionate about sailing.
Elli Kachpani
Elli Kachpani, MSc
Clinical Embryologist
Elli Kachpani is embryologist in the IVF laboratory and part of the scientific team in Newlife IVF Unit. Is fully trained on Assisted Reproduction Techniques and especially on embryo biopsy. Elli has graduated from the Faculty of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the University of Democritus and obtained a MSc degree in Reproductive Biology from the University of Thessaly. She has organizational skills and is characterized by team spirit, since she is a former member of the Badminton national team.
Monica Lera
Monica Lera, BSc
International Patient Coordinator
Monica Lera is an International Patient Coordinator at Newlife IVF Greece. She is responsible for the support in managing the international patients and the related treatment cycles. She has a University degree of Political Science from the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki and has been participating in conferences regarding international affairs. She has been working for “Metromedia” broadcast and print media journalism group since 2013. She is a determined and hard-working professional. She stands out for her communicative skills.
Anta Aggelopoulou
Anta Aggelopoulou, BSc

International Patient Coordinator
Anta Aggelopoulou is a midwife and an International Patient Coordinator at Newlife IVF Greece. She is responsible for the support in managing the international patients and the related treatment cycles. She has an obstetrics college degree from The Technological Educational Institute of Athens. She has been practicing her profession since 2006 and has been working in fertility clinics both in Athens and Thessaloniki. She has also been participating in numerous medical conferences. She has outstanding organizational skills.
Tatiana Baramidze
Tatiana Baramidze, BSc
Midwife
Coordination of treatment programs
Tatiana is responsible for the organization of the surgical procedures and the coordination of treatment programs. She studied at the Technological Educational Institution of Midwifery of Thessaloniki and is a member of the European Society of Assisted Reproduction (ESHRE). After her graduation she was specialized in the surgical field of the 1st Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinic of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Voula Adamopoulou
Voula Adamopoulou, BSc
Midwife
Voula is a midwife at Newlife IVF Greece since 2015. She has an obstetrics college degree from the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki. After her graduation she completed her postgraduate studies at the Democritus University of Alexandroupolis with the subject of "Human Reproduction". She is characterized by the ability to perform under time-pressure conditions as well as taking initiatives when the circumstances require it.
Emmanouela Meletiadou

Customer Services
Emmanouela is secretary and responsible for customer services in the center of reproductive medicine Newlife since 2017. She has obtained a bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Macedonia and has 7 years of experience in a similar job. She is organizational, flexible and willing to customers’ best service.
Eleni Papadopoulou
Eleni Papadopoulou, BSc, MSc
Customer Services
Eleni is part of Customer Service team of Newlife. She has studied History and Archaeology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki while she holds a postgraduate degree in European Literature from the University of Amsterdam. Her main purpose is a first class service in a friendly environment. She has a warm and pleasant personality.
