- An IVF Journey
This has been a long road, but it all changed when I found the Newlife clinic in Greece. I started my search in January last year and I started with the UK with not much luck. The price was very expensive, and the success rate was low and at that point, I thought as a single person, it was going to be hard to find what I was looking for. I was on an IVF chat room and I shared my story and the ladies there, told me to think about going abroad and they were so kind to tell me where they went, one said what about Athens. I did a Google search for IVF in Greece and the Newlife clinic jumped out at me and I started emailing and doing more research and I felt this is the one for me. The staff at Newlife were so welcoming and made me feel like I mattered and that was just the beginning. Any problems or questions I had all I had to do was email and someone would answer; it was an amazing feeling being miles away but getting so much contact with the Newlife team. So at the end of September/beginning of October, I went to Greece to meet the Newlife team and my doctor and embryologist. Waiting in the waiting room I was nothing but happy; I was finally here and it was happening. I was in Thessaloniki for a few days and had my egg collection and went back home to rest and get my body ready for the transfer. At the end of the October I went over to have the transfer done and after IT, I was crying over a picture of my little egg. Now it was down to me and the clinic was still in contact with me even now that I'm 7 weeks pregnant and we are still in contact they don't just leave you after their part is done.
The Newlife team is amazing and gives you hope and can help your dreams come true.
I can't thank them enough.
I hope if there is anyone reading this it can offer you some hope just like they did for me.
