Fertility treatment with Newlife, Greece.

My journey with Newlife started after my two failed cycles on the NHS. My NHS cycles left me feeling hopeless and dehumanised. I was seriously doubting if I would ever experience parenthood or even be pregnant.

Newlife is a clinic I came across during my research on the internet and I was lucky enough to have a face to face consultation with Dr Dovas and Chrysa in London shortly thereafter. I will never forget this first meeting. It came a complete surprise to find that two medical professionals who took the time to listen to my full medical history and, furthermore, the emotional impact infertility was having on me as a person and us (my husband and I) as a couple. For the first time I felt heard. We discussed our medical options and Dr Dovas and Chrysa provided realistic recommendations which were clearly based on research and evidence. Dr Dovas told me that my fertility problems were not my fault and that I was now part of a team which will tackle infertility together. This statement helped me find the strength to move forward and feel that I wasn’t alone or to blame for my infertility problems.

I assumed there would be slight difficulty with having treatment in Greece but living in the UK. However, I was completely wrong. Newlife respond to all emails, calls, questions and worries immediately. All communication is clear and throughout my time with Newlife I never felt as though their distances made treatment difficult in anyway. After visiting Newlife I became familiar with their team of midwives and nurses. Everyone is welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about my case.

I experienced 3 failures and 1 chemical pregnancy before I achieved my positive pregnancy at Newlife. Moreover, I suffered with numerous ovarian cysts and endometrioma which all impacted my treatment. Although each failure and delay to treatment was devastating Newlife remained reassuringly positive and always provided solutions. They listened to me when I told them I felt bad after taking certain medication. They were patient when I was worriedly suggested tests which were unnecessary.

Newlife helped me achieve my goal of getting pregnant and I continue to pray for the birth of a healthy baby later this year. They are a clinic which makes you feel heard and like you have control over your treatment. This is tailor made fertility treatment for your issue as opposed to the one size fits all treatment I got on the NHS. I would highly recommend them to anyone experiencing fertility problems.
